Solar power and material reuse
The textile unit draws part of its electricity from an open-access solar plant. The plastics unit regrinds and reuses its own runners and rejected parts.

The plant is a 1.8 MWp open-access solar plant at Bhalod, Bharuch, Gujarat. The plant is operated by KPI Green Energy.

How the units are set off
The plant does not supply power to the mill directly. It is an open-access plant, and its output goes into the state grid. Each month, the unit's solar units are credited against the Vareli unit's HT electricity bill from DGVCL, the local power distributor.

Regrind in the plastics unit
Raw material is virgin-grade ABS, PP, PC, GPPS and PVC. Runners and rejected parts from moulding are reground on two grinders and reused in-house.
